Stratix is located in villa Hestia in the south of Hilversum. The parcel was purchased in 1881 by Hendrik Overeem, after which villa Hestia was built. In 1995, renovations to the villa have started, given its neglected state at the time. Villa Hestia was recognized as a national historic monument shortly after.
